Derajja is one of New York's favorite World Music DJs, specializing in Arabic Music from Saudi Arabia & Egypt, Debka from Lebanon, Syria, Palestine & Jordan; Egyptian pop music, as well as classic folkloric from many of the Middle Eastern countries. Derajja works in New York city, spinning and producing events at NYC nightclubs - Layaly, Taj Lounge, Shimmy on the Hudson, Providence, Katra Lounge, Star Lounge Chelsea, and more. A specialty of a  Derajja mix is usually Sha'abi from North Africa, as well as Rai and Algerian pop, mixed with Indian Bhangra & Bellydance Music.
